Mr. Sorensen is the founder, President and CEO of the GPC Group. Mark has over 34 years of experience in the application of GIS and related technology in 230 projects in 68 countries. Most recently, Mark has been working with other global partners towards the development of “Smart Development Infrastructure” (SDI+) to apply spatial data infrastructure (SDI) principles to the special needs of developing countries, “fragile states” and small island developing states (SIDS).
