Pietro is a driver of change and social impact. Over the last 17 years he has worked in different programme and management roles within the humanitarian sector – mostly in countries affected by conflict and mass displacement. Having started to work at the Norwegian Refugee Council in 2011, he now heads the ICT Development section at the Oslo headquarters. Pietro is particularly keen on collaboration and sharing to solve sector-wide challenges. He is passionate about lean & innovation and growingly interested in the potential of technology to disrupt humanitarian work. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master in Post-war recovery studies.
