Ila is a product manager with IMImobile, a global software and solutions company that enables organisations to utilise mobile and digital technologies to communicate and engage with their customers.
Ila maintains a special focus on the design and implementation of large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects in "mobile-Governance" in India. She was a key product manager for India's first m-Governance project, "Karnataka Mobile One", having collaborated with senior bureaucrats to design the user journeys and interactions for 100+ services. Karnataka Mobile One is the recipient of numerous awards including the "Best m-Government" award at the World Governance Summit, UAE, 2016.
She is also experienced in working closely with other state governments in India, particularly with E-Governance officials for 'm-Governance' solutions.
At IMImobile, Ila has also proposed and implemented solutions on 'm-Health' and has managed the delivery of several large-scale social media and mobile campaigns for NGOs and leading FMCGs in India.
Ila is a graduate of BITS Pilani and has volunteered extensively at the grassroots level for non-profit organisations in public health in urban and rural India. She is interested in identifying collaborative opportunities for programs centred on the use of mobile phones for development and social change.
