Limited Capacity seats available

DHIS2 is a web-based software that is used to capture, analyse and report data. Adopted in over 50 countries and by more that 60 NGOs, DHIS2 is fast becoming an industry-standard software platform within the international development sector. With origins in the global South, DHIS2 has evolved from a narrowly-defined district health information software (DHIS) to an enterprise platform implemented in multi-national and multi-sectoral contexts.

In this introductory training, participants will gain hands-on practical experience around the building blocks of DHIS2 configuration. These will include:
1. Data Elements and Indicators
2. Organisation Units
3. Data Sets and data entry
4. User management
5. Analytics

Given the challenges of poor technical infrastructure in less developed countries there will be a session on some DHIS2 features that aim to address technical feasibility. For example:
- Offline functionalities
- Hybrid deployments (combination of online and offline server implementation)
- Mobile Apps

The sessions will be highly interactive and participants will have an opportunity to engage on use case suitability, bootstrapping, end-to-end process, resource implications and common pitfalls.
