As a consultant for Technology Innovation in Development, provides part-time advice and consulting support for efforts by global relief and development organizations such as Catholic Relief Services, to enhance the effectiveness of their field programming through strategic use of technology. Serves on the board of iMerit Technology services, a social enterprise focused on helping underprivileged youth escape the poverty trap by providing livelihoods through the creation of digital jobs. Works with NetHope, a consortium of leading international humanitarian organizations, to develop learning assets and events that build organizational capacity to enhance the impact of development programs through use of ICT solutions. Executive editor of the SDG ICT4D ICT Playbook.Previously, as Vice President and Chief Information Officer for CRS, aligned technology investments with agency strategy, enhanced the ability of the information technology organization to deliver global services, and established the agency's reputation as a thought leader in strategic use of technology to enhance its effectiveness. As Vice President of CSC, a global information technology services firm, managed system development and integration programs involving over 1,000 professionals and annual budgets exceeding $300 million for international, commercial, and government clients. As CSC's first Chief Knowledge Officer, led a highly rated knowledge management and process improvement program.
